Learn to naturally dye a silk handkerchief! Using both fresh and dried flowers, learn the skill of bundle dyeing. Leave with your very own handkerchief and the skills to start dyeing on your own. All materials provided!
This class will be taught by LoCoFlo friend and neighbor Frankie Downing. Frankie learned to naturally dye in college when attending Warren Wilson in Swannanoa, NC and ever since has been dyeing and teaching workshops. She specializes in film photography and alternative photo processing, weaving, dyeing and sewing. She teaches classes at The Tool Library and is attending grad school at Loyola in Arts Education.
